Prior to embarking upon her professional journey, Ms. Birdsall studied television production at Emerson College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1988. Following this accomplishment, she began her career in 1993 and worked for over a decade at Time Warner as a Creative Director for television advertisements. Ms. Birdsall subsequently served as a freelance commercial director until meeting a business coach, who taught her how to turn an effective profit from her talents as a voice actress and laid the groundwork for her future accomplishments as a coach in her own right.
Ms. Birdsall has garnered several accolades throughout the course of her career, including 12 Telly Awards for her role in directing and producing commercials, as well as nine awards for her voice-over talent through the Southern California Television Academy. Likewise, she has received nominations for Best Commercial Performance at the OneVoice Conference by Gravy for the Brain Ltd in 2021 and another in 2022.
In accounting for her prosperity, Ms. Birdsall credits the voiceover community at large, with whom she enjoys the support of a tightly knit network of professionals who encourage one another to succeed. She maintains her membership with such groups as World Voices Organization Inc., and the International Association of Women.
