CLEVELAND, OH, December 16, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Yahaira Soto has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Driven by an innate need to help others, Ms. Soto presently excels as the Hispanic Liaison for the City of Cleveland Department of Aging. In addition to advocating for her community, she provides the Hispanic community with assistance in navigating the housing market in the area. Over the years, she has assisted numerous people from Puerto Rico, who were impacted by Hurricane Maria, in finding housing for themselves and their families. Additionally, Ms. Soto organized an event where those families got "adopted" by different agencies during the Christmas season.
During the early stages of her career, Ms. Soto gained valuable expertise in public service with nonprofit agency Spanish American Committee, Amotec (staffing Agency), the City of Cleveland, HEAP/PIPP, senior home assistance program. Outside of her work, she contributes to her community through the Hispanic Heritage Month, and as a volunteer at the local homeless shelter and various children's events. An expert in her field, Ms. Soto holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Interamerican University of Puerto Rico.
Throughout her career, Ms. Soto has achieved much, earning employee recognition during Hispanic Heritage Month from the City of Cleveland. Likewise, she was interviewed by Telemundo during that same time. While her career has been filled with highlights, she takes the most pride in helping others. Though hard work and dedication have brought her far, she credits her success to her family's steadfast support. In the coming years, Ms. Soto aims to complete a master's degree, continue her community service, and work in the field of immigration.
