As an administrator, Mr. Angeron relies on his solid academic credentials, including a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of New Orleans, which he finished in 2020, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, which he completed at Nicholls State University in 1997. He also brings applied teaching experience to his current role, having spent 16 years teaching physical education in the public school system.
A background in coaching and mentoring shaped Mr. Angeron's approach to higher education, and he has specific experience in sports recruiting and management. He is currently a national baseball recruiter for MyTime Sports LLC, a position he began in 2019, and from 2004 to 2018, he was a professional baseball scout for Global Scouting Bureau. Moreover, Mr. Angeron was an associate baseball scout for the Milwaukee Brewers between 2008 and 2010, and he has acted as an independent professional baseball coach for both the Springfield Mountain Ducks in Springfield, Missouri, and for the Pensacola Pelicans, a team he helped initiate in 2002.
Mr. Angeron holds critical industry credentials, including the Certified Sports Psychology Coach (CSPC) and the Certified Stress Management Coach (CSMC) designations. He is also a published author and proudly wrote "The Mental Training Guide for Athletes," which BookAuthority named one of the best sports psychology books of all time. Mr. Angeron has a children's book series called the "Be Your Own Superhero" series. His children's book titles include "Mental Master and Earn it Earnie", "Mental Master and Positive Pam", "Mental Master and Humble Henry" and "Mental Master and Confident Carl: Be Your Own Superhero."
