Coach Shar founded "Shar The Life Coach LLC" in 2019 and Begin Again Academy in 2021. She expertly coaches clients through recovery and healing as they deal with trauma, depression, grief and the loss of direction and purpose. Her customer base is diverse, including teenaged-aged students. Coach Shar offers both individual and group coaching to adults, male and female. Moreover, Coach Shar has crafted a Life Skills & Emotional Healing Program that can be deployed in after-school hours via virtual portals. She introduces students to 40 Principles that will guide positive decision making; and provide a capacity for student growth and enrichment.
Coach Shar holds impressive academic credentials, including a Master of Management and Leadership from Webster University. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from the University of Maryland Global Campus, formerly known as University of Maryland University College (UMUC). Coach Shar holds two Associate Degrees. She's proud to admit- the one in Christian Studies from Trinity Life Bible College in Sacramento, California was her favorite. Coach Shar's industry certifications are broad and include the Personal Development Certificate of Completion from Inner Visions Institute for Spiritual Development in Silver Spring, Maryland. Coach Shar completed two years of intense study with Rev. Dr. Iyanla Vanzant. Coach Shar was then certified immediately, through Coach Elephant August, 2021. Coach Shar then graduated again from Dr. Coach Sonja Stribling's "Kitchen Table CEO" program in 2021. She is also a Partner of "The Heart of Coaching," by Coach Kellee Thatch Williams in Clubhouse; as well as, Apostle Francina Norman Ministries, who is her Kingdom/Spiritual Mentor. Coach Shar can be seen on PicTV's Coaching World Channel 989 on Roku and looking to produce a show on "Believe in Your Dreams Network," titled "Beginning Again With Coach Shar in 2023.
Moreover, Coach Shar brings ample field experience to her current role, including a concurrent appointment as a Student Life Counselor for The SEED School of Maryland (Boarding School) and diverse roles as a Para-Educator, Substitute Teacher and Court Appointed Special Advocate for youth in Prince George County, Maryland. Coach Shar has over 20 years of experience in education. She considers herself a career student and working in education kept her aspiring for higher education from the ages 27-47. As one can imagine, she values education.
Several commendations have marked Coach Shar's professional achievements so far, including the Humanitarian Award from The Sanctuary at Kingdom Square in 2018 for her work preparing youth for college. As well as, a Community Hero Award through PicTV's Coaching World Channel for serving her community with healing activities in 2022. She is also proud of her creative accomplishments; in fact, Coach Shar is a published author: I Am Precious, Diary of My Life from Sin to Salvation and Begin Again Journal/Workbook which is seven weeks of inner healing available at www.lifecoachshar.com. In 2022, Coach Shar was interviewed by "Top Doctors" a local show in Baltimore promoting mental health services.
Ultimately, she counts home-schooling her daughter and son for high school and both earning athletic scholarships as her greatest personal successes. Coach Shar credits her move into a career in Grief Coaching and Healing Academy Owner- as well as, her mom- Ms. Shirley Foster age 65 at the time for being in the first graduating class at Begin Again Academy. Ms. Foster took the 13-week program twice; in addition, to another course. Looking to the future, Coach Shar aims to advance the Begin Again Academy's industry profile and successfully assist an even broader client population in the healing process so they can be emotionally free to live fulfilling lives.
