CLEVELAND, OH, December 21, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael A. Ambrose has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Drawing on over a decade of expertise in the academic field, Mr. Ambrose specializes in the enrollment process for skill trade education. For over 11 years, he has built a prolific career as an enrollment and campus director at the Ohio Technical College. In this capacity, he is responsible for managing the implementation of qualified candidates into their specialty programs, overseeing the training and development of future student coordinators, handling the financial aid and the accreditation standards, and updating the training procedures. Prior to this role, Mr. Ambrose was involved with the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.
Before venturing onto his professional journey, Mr. Ambrose pursued an education at Columbia University in the City of New York, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a minor in management in 1995. As a commitment to his field, he has been active with several industry-related organizations, including the Michigan Automotive Teachers Association, the National Future Farmers of America Organization and SkillsUSA Inc. Likewise dedicated to civic advocacy, Mr. Ambrose was instrumental in establishing a scholarship opportunity and other tuition assistance to first responders, including nurses, the fire department personnel and the emergency medical services workers in Northeast Ohio, who might be interested in a career change post-pandemic.
Mr. Ambrose's drive to pursue his professional path derived from his father, who served as a vocational high school instructor and inspired him to follow in his footsteps. Reflecting on his career, he attributes much of his success to his commitment to his students and his ability to learn from his profession. Looking toward the future, Mr. Ambrose aspires to expand the academic scope of Ohio Technical College and hopes they achieve recognition as one of the top leaders in the skill trade and transportation industry education.
