During the early stages of his career, Mr. Bailey gained valuable expertise in the field with Fairmont New Orleans, Fairmont Vancouver Airport, Delta Whistler Resort, and a five-star hotel in Zurich, Switzerland. Alongside his work, he contributes to his community through Goodwill Industries, where he supports an employment program for special needs students and youth. Likewise, he devotes himself to others through the Human Trafficking Coalition of the Palm Beaches.
In order to remain abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Bailey aligns himself with the American Culinary Federation and Chaine des Rotisseurs. An expert in his field, he holds a certificate in culinary arts from Vancouver Community College and completed associate degree coursework. Similarly, he is level two wines and spirits certified through the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and a certified executive chef through the American Culinary Federation. Due to his outstanding breadth of knowledge, Mr. Bailey has contributed to the cookbook "Better Together" on behalf of the Human Trafficking Coalition of the Palm Beaches, which aims to provide cookbooks to families and the community in order to create an open dialogue around food.
In light of his professional achievements, Mr. Bailey received the Best Event Award from The Willard Intercontinental, the Employee of the Quarter Award, an award through the American Culinary Federation, and various bronze, silver, and gold medals in culinary competitions. Though his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in working with young rising stars in the culinary industry and representing the United States at the Black Box Competition at the Worldchefs Congress in Dubai in 2008.
