Following a successful career of over three decades, Bruce R. Ellig retired in 1996 after serving Pfizer, Inc., since the inception of his career. Hired by Pfizer in 1960, he escalated to the rank of manager of compensation and personnel research in 1968 and was promoted to corporate director of compensation and benefits in 1970. For the following five years, Mr. Ellig served as vice president of compensation and benefits before becoming the vice president of employee relations in 1983. From 1985 until his retirement, he excelled as vice president of personnel.
