Before shifting his focus to consulting, Dr. Bogicevic was active in the blockchain development field, working with CG Blockchain Inc. as its chief strategist, chief executive officer, vice president of technology and, eventually, president, from 2016 until 2018. He previously spent nearly six years with Eaton Co. serving as the worldwide engineering director of the company's supercharger division and senior technology manager of their innovation center.

A graduate of the Chalmers University of Technology, he holds master's degrees in engineering physics and civil engineering, and a Doctor of Philosophy in theoretical physics. After a one-year postdoctoral research position at the Sandia National Laboratory, Dr. Bogicevic began his career as a staff scientist at Ford Motor Company, rising to become manager of solid oxide fuel cells and graduating from the executive leadership development program before his departure in 2006.
Throughout the course of his career, Dr. Bogicevic has been recognized for his research and business leadership excellence with various awards, including a 2011 Design News Golden Mousetrap for the development of Eatonite, a 2009 award for the development of an industrial-scale thermomagnetic heat treatment process, and a 2018 Blockchain Investors Consortium audience award. He has published more than 40 technical papers with more than 3,000 citations, presented at over 40 global seminars and symposia, and is a two-time keynote speaker for meetings of the University of Michigan Minerals Metals and Materials Society.
