An expert in his field, Mr. Maier earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Notre Dame, the equivalent of a master's degree in nuclear engineering from the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command, a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix and a diploma in executive financial management from the University of Chicago. Over the years, he has also obtained a plethora of certifications through the Franchise Brokers Association, the PNW Center for Business Growth and Development, the Commercial Brokers Association, and the Society of Certified Senior Advisors, to mention just a few. Prior to beginning his career in the field, Mr. Maier served as a nuclear submarine officer with the United States Navy serving aboard both fleet ballistic and fast attack submarines based in the Pacific Ocean as part of the US Navy's Pacific Fleet.
In order to remain aware of changes in the field and commitment to Veterans, Mr. Maier is affiliated with the Naval Order of the United States, Veterans of Foreign Wars, The American Legion, the Military Officers Association of America, United States Submarine Veterans, Inc., the Naval Submarine League, and the Navy League of the United States. In conjunction with this work, he has contributed to his community as a judge for the Naval Order of the United States and for DECA. Previously, he dedicated himself to several University of Notre Dame alumni chapters, the VA Puget Sound Health Care System's Seattle Division, and Limbs for U.
