Likewise, he has been recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Window Covering Association of America, the NJ Family Business of the Year Award through NY Monthly Magazine, and a National Retailer of the Year Award through Draperies & Window Coverings Magazine, the latter of which has been one of the highlights of his career. The cornerstone of his career lay in his hard work, fostering a great staff culture, and a passion for the industry. In the coming years, Mr. Heyman intends to run five or more stores and tend to his Christmas trees on the side.
