As a technical sales representative at Xypex Chemical Corporation, he works closely with architects, engineers, consultants, general contractors and subcontractors to answer product questions and solve problems, while also developing new designs to help solve the challenges experienced by his clientele.
Before joining Xypex earlier this year, Mr. Kimball worked as a technical specialist for rough opening preparation and air barriers with the Building Envelope Group at PROSOCO, Inc., from 2013 to 2022, and as a field application technical specialist, technical specialist, quality specialist and chemist with Dow Corning Corporation from 1979 to 2013. Throughout his career, his employers have recognized Mr. Kimball's excellent performance with various awards, including a Technical Service Award and Sales Achievement Award from Dow Corning Corporation. In addition, he was listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students.
Mr. Kimball earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and general business from Saginaw Valley State University in 1982; he has always been fascinated by chemistry, which attracted him to his career path. As an ongoing commitment to his profession, he is active with several professional organizations, including ASTM International, the International Concrete Repair Institute, Construction Specifications Institute, the Sealant, Waterproofing, Restoration Institute, the American Concrete Institute, and the National Precast Concrete Association.
In his free time, Mr. Kimball enjoys building and repairing things and completing home improvement projects. In the next five years, he looks forward to becoming more engaged in his local territory and in his company and to spending time with his adult children and grandchildren in Kentucky, and his young son in Detroit.
