Working with church attire, sports apparel, uniforms, and more, Ms. Cobb excels in her role as a leader in screen printing.
An experienced salesperson, Ms. Cobb attributes her success and longevity as an entrepreneur to her determination and to what she calls her three-P principles, which include preparation, perseverance, and prayer. Prior to becoming a successful business owner, she gained expertise in screen printing at Colormac Inc. where she learned sales and served as the production manager between 1984 and 1999. She also worked for MPI Inc. as both a salesperson and production manager from 1987 to 1990. When Ms. Cobb decided to open her own business in the industry, her boss provided her with over $150,000 of the necessary equipment to help her get started.
Guided by her faith, Ms. Cobb has authored 12 gospel songs. She also notably founded the Dr. Martin Luther King Unity Walk of Faith in 2012, an annual march that raises money for those suffering from cancer and various ailments. Inspired by many of her late family members that had passed away, Ms. Cobb wanted to bring community members together as health care advocates.
Ms. Cobb graduated from Columbus High School in Columbus, Georgia. She subsequently attended Chattahoochee Valley Community College where she received an associate's degree in liberal arts in 1984.
Honoring her former accomplishments as an athlete, Ms. Cobb was recognized as an all-time leading scorer in both male and female basketball in the Tri-City area, accumulating 2,454 career points. She was also the first female to play on the boys' basketball team during her school years. Furthermore, Ms. Cobb was the first freshman high school player to be selected as the City Player of the Year three consecutive years in a row and by All City four years in a row. Most honorably, her basketball jersey was the first to ever be retired at her high school. Among other achievements, Ms. Cobb was named a three-time Hall of Famer during her high school and college years and in 2022 she was nominated for a Legacy Sports Award.
