Drawing on years of professional experience, Ms. Clarke presently excels as a coach and counselor for Freedom Is Yours, LLC, which aims to empower and equip women to walk in their purpose through counseling, coaching, and mentoring. Since establishing her organization, she has empowered many women to walk in freedom and purpose. Ms. Clarke also founded an annual "Freedom Is" Women's Conference (held in May) which provides women with the necessary tools to obtain/regain freedom in their lives. Alongside her work with Freedom Is Yours, Ms. Clarke has written a book of poetry titled "Freedom Is" and co-authored one of Amazon's Bestseller Anthologies titled "Unmute Yourself."
During the early stages of her career, Ms. Clarke gained valuable professional expertise as a top Noncommissioned Officer (NCO) in the United States Air Force and as a Human Resource Manager in her civilian positions. Though her career has been filled with highlights, she takes the most pride in becoming a Christian Counselor, an ordained minister and licensed pastor.
The cornerstone of Ms. Clarke's success lay in growing up in an underprivileged black neighborhood down south. During the time of segregation when black students weren't allowed to go to school, she remembered pleading with her grandmother to go to school. Against the rules, her grandmother put her on the bus anyway. Upon arriving, the teacher told her she wasn't allowed to be there and sent her to a room by herself with a coloring book. At the end of the day, the school counselor told her she wasn't allowed to return, which lit a fire in her that she has carried throughout her life. It was then she realized the importance of learning and freedom. Ms. Clarke intends to continue empowering women in the coming years through her organization, Freedom Is Yours.
