Having accrued more than 35 years of experience in the field of Business Management, Dr. McNeil has successfully balanced her talents through more than 20 years of volunteer work with The Sterling Council, a not for profit public/private organization dedicated to organizational performance excellence and the development of role model outcomes as well as 34 years of employment with Citigroup, a multinational investment bank and financial services corporation. In her latest role as a Director at the company in Jacksonville, Florida she leverages a wealth of expertise in Lean Six Sigma, organizational management, process engineering, systems thinking, audit, strategic planning, project management, technology and information security to oversee and support Personal Banking and Wealth Management technology development lifecycles. Previously Dr. McNeil served as a Senior Vice President, during which one of her assignments was to establish a collaborative technology facility in Chennai, India as well as support a workforce of 2,065 as Chief of Staff for the Global Digital team.
Prior to her work at Citigroup, Dr. McNeil was active as a Senior Consultant at the ICX Group, where she specialized in compliance, risk management, project management and marketing from 2002 until 2003, having fulfilled a similar role as a Director at the Convergys Corporation between 2001 and 2002. She also served as a Consultant and Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1998 to 2001 where she led a Year 2000 transition team for a multi-national corporation with 38 Strategic Business Units and in doing so avoided the critical loss of client data. Dr. McNeil also served as a Vice President for AT&T Corporate Headquarters from 1984 until 1998.
Outside of her primary endeavors, Dr. McNeil availed herself on behalf of students at the University of Phoenix as Finance Chair and adjunct professor for Finance, Quantitative Analytics/Statistics, Operations Management, Transformational Leadership, and Strategic Management, among other subjects from 2003 until 2020, during which time she also served as Lead Faulty Chair. During this time, Dr. McNeil also balanced an adjunct faculty role at the University of North Florida for which she taught Project Management courses between 2003 and 2013.
Well-regarded for her accomplishments and knowledge of the field, Dr. McNeil held the position of Chair of the Examination Committee, Board Member, Master Examiner and Team Lead for The Sterling Council, serving organizations in the states of Florida and Georgia by sharing institutional and Baldrige-based knowledge of organizational performance excellence. As a Master Examiner and Team Lead for the past 20 years, Dr. McNeil has lead teams through the highest level, award based assessment process of applicant organizations, providing final assessment reports that include strategic, organizational and operational feedback to the applicant organizations. Additionally, she has spoken at several Sterling Council, University of Phoenix and Association Conferences and on YouTube regarding a number of leadership subjects from 2008 and onward.
Much of Dr. McNeil's performance in the field has been sustained by her academic accomplishments. Beginning with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Georgian Court College in 1984, she went on to study at Nova University, from which she earned a Master of Business Administration in 1991, receiving a Special Recognition award for Educational Merit. Following this accomplishment, she attained a Doctor of Business Administration in Finance from Nova Southeastern University in 1996. Eminently qualified in her field, Dr. McNeil has been certified in a number of disciplines through the Institute of International Learning, the Project Management Institute, the Information Systems Audit and Control Association and the Institute of Internal Auditors.
Among her most cherished accomplishments, Dr. McNeil is very proud of her three children, Alyssa, Matthew and Brooke. Her accomplishments also include the receipt of many awards from The Sterling Council, University of Phoenix, North Florida YMCA, The Presidents Volunteer Service Awards from 2005 to current, Citigroup, JCPenney Golden Rules and International Who's Who of Professional and Business Women. She is extremely humbled to be honored as a recipient of both Faculty of the Year and Faculty of the Decade awards from the University of Phoenix as well as the Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society, National Honor Society and New Jersey Girl's State.
