Since 2021, she has found much success as the director of respiratory therapy at The Silvercrest Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. Prior to this role, she was active as a respiratory therapy consultant at Aeris Consulting and Management from 2021 to 2022, while concurrently serving as a respiratory care supervisor at New York- Presbyterian Queens Hospital from 2018 until 2022. In 2006, Ms. Rathod began her vocation working initially as a phlebotomist and a lab processor at New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where she would later build a prolific career as an infection prevention coach, a registered respiratory therapist, a lead registered respiratory therapist and an interim administrative director of respiratory therapy, between 2006 and 2021.
Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Rathod pursued an education at Long Island University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in respiratory care in 2012. She continued her academic efforts at the City University of New York Baruch College, earning a Master of Public Administration in 2016. As a commitment to her field, she has been certified as a registered respiratory therapist and has been active with several industry-related organizations, including the American Association for Respiratory Care. Likewise dedicated to civic advocacy, Ms. Rathod maintains involvement with a yearly holiday toy drive at St. Mary's Hospital for Children. She also sponsored two childrens' educations through Save the Children, donates to the World Food Organization on a monthly basis, and participates in other local drives.
Well regarded for her achievements in the field, Ms. Rathod has been featured in the Baruch Alumni Magazine in 2021 and has received multiple awards, including the Caregiver of the Month Award in 2017 and the Good Catch Award for High Reliability Practices in 2021.
