Prior to this role, he contributed to the CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System from 2019 to 2021. He initially began his career working at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler from 1999 until 2006. Following this post, Mr. Low taught clinical microbiology at the Allegheny Health Network Saint Vincent Hospital School of Medical Laboratory Science in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Low pursued an education at The University of Texas at Tyler, where he earned a Master of Science in biology, with an emphasis in microbiology and biotechnology in 1999. As a commitment to his field, he has been certified in clinical microbiology and as a clinical laboratory scientist via the American Society for Clinical Pathology. Additionally, Mr. Low has been active with several industry-related organizations, including the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, the Alpha Chi Honor Society and the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
Likewise dedicated to civic advocacy, Mr. Low contributes to the Tyler Amateur Radio Club in Texas. Among his professional accomplishments, he is most proud of the expertise that he has garnered working at various laboratory facilities, which has allowed him to become a well-rounded specialist in his field. Looking toward the future, Mr. Low aspires to teach microbiology again, specifically at the newly constructed medical school in Tyler, Texas.
