Prior to embarking on her vocational journey, Dr. Ramos Figueroa pursued an education at Lee University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1992. She continued her academic efforts at Florida Gulf Coast University, earning a master's degree in special education in 2006. She then concluded her scholarly endeavors at Grand Canyon University, where she attained a Doctor of Education in organizational leadership. As a commitment to her field, Dr. Ramos Figueroa has been active with several industry-related organizations, including the National Education Association.
Well regarded for her contributions to the field, Dr. Ramos Figueroa was nominated for the Hispanic of the Year Award by the Hendry County Library System in 2013. Among her vocational accomplishments, she is most proud of her ability to impact the educational achievements of her students and her own daughter, who is on the autism spectrum and has inspired her to pursue her career path. Looking toward the future, Dr. Ramos Figueroa aspires to create a collaborative network of diverse professional members within her rural county and to contribute more to her community.
