Prior to embarking on her legal career, Ms. Marcoccia pursued an education at Syracuse University majoring in Law and Public Policy, and graduating magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1998. She obtained a J.D. degree from Georgetown University in 2001. Ms. Marcoccia is admitted to practice in New York and the District of Columbia and she is also admitted to practice in numerous federal courts including the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Northern, Southern and Western Districts of New York, the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
In order to remain aware of developments in her field, Ms. Marcoccia holds her affiliation with a number of relevant organizations, including the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Council, the New York City Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar. She is also a member of the Varsity Club of Syracuse University having been a four-year letter winner on the Varsity tennis team and a co-captain of the team during her senior year. While at Syracuse University she was an Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar Athlete All-American and she received Big East Conference academic honors.
