Leveraging more than a decade of excellence in fashion production and production design, Mr. Laboureau has earned distinction as a production designer and art director for FLatelier. Since 2008, he has focused his efforts on providing creative direction, art direction and production design services for a variety of clients including Disney +, Amazon, Meta, NBC, Warner, Discovery, History, Warner and Condé Nast.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Laboureau began his career as the chief creative director for FLatelier in 2005. While working there, he served as the production designer and fashion producer for Project Runway Latin America in 2010. He also was the Production Designer and fashion consultant for Mexico's Next Top Model in 2014. He subsequently was the creative director of the Haute Design Institute from 2014 to 2021. Prior to embarking on his professional journey, he earned a Fashion Designer from the Universidad de Palermo in Argentina in 2008.
Within the coming years, Mr. Laboureau intends to explore more into the artistic world, developing several projects simultaneously while connecting to his culture. His Latin background and upbringing was highly influenced by his family's colorful European, French and Italian heritage.
Accounting for his success, he credits the support and acceptance he's received from his colleagues and community since moving to the United States. Although he was not fluent in English at the time, he learned how to express his passions and expertise quickly, demonstrating his abilities and gaining confidence for his field.
