Leveraging several years of excellence in healthcare, Ms. Ball has earned distinction as a registered nurse with Ashtabula County Medical Center. In this role, she focuses her efforts on cardiac catheterization, as well as assisting with pacemakers, intracardiac defibrillator placement, performing transesophageal echocardiograms and placing peripherally-inserted central catheters for patients receiving long-term treatment. Additionally, she was elected treasurer and district officer for the Ohio Nurses Association and served as the president of the Conneaut Valley Alumni Association. She is also a valued member of the American Nurses Association.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Ball began her career as a Seidman Cancer Center float pool nurse for University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio, relieving for nurses who were unable to report for work. She then moved to University Hospitals in Conneaut, Ohio. Prior to embarking on her professional journey, she earned an Associate of Science in Nursing from Kent State University of Ashtabula in 2017. Well-qualified in her field, she gained certification as a registered nurse the same year.
Among her professional accomplishments, Ms. Ball is proud to have received a KSUA Faculty Award from Kent State University of Ashtabula in 2017. She was also an ONA District Officer Nominee. Within the coming years, she intends to continue her nursing career, rising to a higher leadership position in the Ohio Nurses Association and in the American Nurses Association. She also intends to obtain her vascular access board certification, allowing her to better care for her patients.
