An expert in her field, Mrs. Pollard holds a bachelor's degree in anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA from the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, and a Master of Science in Healthcare Policy & Research from the Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences. Similarly, she is a certified clinical research coordinator through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals and she was previously a certified phlebotomy technician through the National Healthcareer Association.
While her career has been filled with highlights, Mrs. Pollard takes the most pride in advocating for the research program at King's County Hospital. The cornerstone of her success lay with her mother who instilled in her a tenacious perseverance for excellence and with her fifth-grade teachers Ms. Porter and Mr. Tue who showed her that not even the sky's the limit. In the next five to ten years, Mrs. Pollard intends to be the director of a thriving clinical research program that works with underserved and underrepresented communities.
