Furthermore, Ms. Taiariol is an expert in records management and consistently interfaces with vendors toward achieving improved efficiency and security.
Ms. Taiariol brings deep industry experience to her role with the water department, a position she accepted in 2017. For example, in 2016, she was a documentation specialist with the Great Lakes Water Authority, and from 2009 to 2015, she was a government programs administrator and project manager with Health Alliance Plan (HAP). Her experience in corporate training extends to a 15-year appointment with Kmart as well as a position as a training manager with NBD Bank (later known as First Chicago, then Bank One), where she instituted a training program to deploy across state lines, covering 20,000 employees annually using a single vendor. Ms. Taiariol also served as the PMO coordinator at GM in Warren, Michigan, from 2004 to 2005 and as a project coordinator of internal training at Blue Cross Blue Shield/Compuware between 1995 and 2004.
A broad academic background has lent critical support to Ms. Taiariol's professional endeavors. She earned a Master of Education in Adult Education from Central Michigan University in 2008, and in 1980, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Biology at George Mason University. Critical industry credentials are also an important foundation for Ms. Taiariol: she became a designated Project Management Professional (PMP) after completing training at the Project Management Institute in 2000, and through LinkedIn, Ms. Taiariol has pursued additional relevant expertise by completing programs such as Strategic Agility and Software Testing in 2021, as well as Systems Thinking, Building Resilience, and Managing Virtual Teams in 2020.
Contributing to society is important to Ms. Taiariol and she was involved in the Girl Scouts of America as a troop leader.
