Dr. di Liscia takes the most pride in her work as an anesthesiologist with Dr. Primo doing transplants for young Israeli soldiers at the Hospital Erasme, Universite Libre de Bruxelles.
BOCA RATON, FL, February 07, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Angele Odile di Liscia has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Intent on becoming a doctor from a young age, Dr. di Liscia faced opposition from her father. However, she decided to forge her own path and attend medical school anyway, graduating from Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 1982. Over the years, she expanded upon her professional knowledge by becoming a certified anesthesiologist and earning a certification in cardiac and transplant anesthesiology. Throughout her career, Dr. di Liscia gained valuable expertise in medicine as a staff anesthesiologist at the University of Antwerp and in education as a French and English language teacher.
Backed by years of professional experience, Dr. di Liscia was a staff anesthesiologist with Hospital Cesar De Paepe in Brussels. In conjunction with her work, she contributed to her community and those less fortunate through mission work at the University of Lubumbashi's Doctors Without Holidays. The Knights of Malta protected some of her private missions in Africa. She also was a member of "Doctors of the World."
Though her career has been filled with highlights, Dr. di Liscia takes the most pride in her work as an anesthesiologist with Dr. Primo doing transplants for young Israeli soldiers at the Hospital Erasme, Universite Libre de Bruxelles. While hard work and dedication have brought her far in her career, Dr. di Liscia credits her success to her father, who was a prisoner of war in Germany; he has always been her hero.
Dr. di Liscia retired and lives in Boca Raton where she is a member of the Sephardi Federation of Palm Beach County, L'Alliance francophone of Palm Beach County and The French Group of Boca Raton. She never lost her interest in the medical field and still reads many medical publications, especially concerning anesthesiology and its important discoveries and progress.
