She began as a territory sales manager and then served as the organization's balancing/controls specialist for one year in 2019. In 2020, she returned to her role as a sales representative, overseeing the Greater Pittsburgh market. She is primarily responsible for commercial projects throughout western Pennsylvania, including for hospitals, office buildings, universities, and other facilities.
A global organization, Victaulic is comprised of several divisions, including fire protection, mining, oil, and gas. The company also has 13 manufacturing facilities and 28 branches throughout the world, providing solutions across various sectors, including oil and gas, chemical, mining, power generation, and water and wastewater treatment.
Drawn to Victaulic because of its integrity, Ms. Clancy believes in the company's products and what they represent. She is also fascinated by the organization's innovativeness and its ability to constantly develop new ideas to better serve the industry. Hoping to make a difference in Victaulic's daily business, Ms. Clancy has worked hard to prove herself. In fact, one year after acquiring her own territory, she managed to double her sales quota from the year before. In 2022, she earned President's Club for being in the top 10% of sales in the company worldwide.
Looking toward the future, Ms. Clancy aims to continue progressing so that she can be promoted to the regional manager at Victaulic. In this capacity, she would be afforded the opportunity to build her own team and oversee her own territory in a way that she believes will result in added growth. Ms. Clancy also aspires to establish better relationships with contractors and others in the industry.
During an earlier stage of her career, Ms. Clancy was a sales representative for Liberty Mutual Insurance. She was also a peer educator at the University of Pittsburgh and an instructor at Our Lady of Mercy Catcher's Clinic. Furthermore, Ms. Clancy garnered experience working in the warehouse for the William B. Morse Lumber Company.
In her spare time, Ms. Clancy frequently volunteers by raising funds at annual golf tournaments on behalf of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers' (ASHRAE) local Pittsburgh chapter, which supports various worthy causes.
An alumnus of the University of Pittsburgh, Ms. Clancy received a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Professional Communication in 2016. To remain abreast in her field, Ms. Clancy is an active member of the National Association of Women in Construction and ASHRAE.
