The cornerstone of her success lay in her unwavering faith in Christ, 'walking the talk' of mindfulness practices, and remembering to keep it simple.
COLUMBUS, GA, February 17, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kellie Stele has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Drawing on over fifteen years of professional expertise in social work to date, Ms. Steele presently excels as a licensed clinical social worker with the Rivertown Counseling Center, where she sees up to nine clients a day, and assists in supervising rising social work clinicians within the practice. Through her work, she has honed her expertise in evidence-based practices, and the polyvagal theory to promote nervous system regulation. During the early stages of her career, Ms. Steele gained valuable expertise in the field by working with active-duty military personnel and their families through the United States Department of Defense. It was there, she gained her clinical licensure supervision, and eagerness to support others to embrace the bittersweet concepts of vulnerability.
Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Ms. Steele aligns herself with the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS). Outside of her work, she also contributes to her community as a board member of the parent-teacher organization (PTO) within the school in which both of her sons attend; she has always been an advocate for education and remains passionate for supporting youth. As an expert in her field, Ms. Steele holds a Bachelor of Social Work from East Carolina University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Alabama, from which she graduated Summa Cum Laude, top of her class. Currently, she is also pursuing a doctoral degree in psychology (PsyD), specializing in trauma recovery for all ages, in efforts to break generational cycles of suffering. In the coming years, Ms. Steele intends to speak within conference settings, to larger populations, on topics of making our nervous systems our ally rather than an enemy.
In recognition of her professional experience, Ms. Steele received a Certificate of Achievement (COA) as a Psychology Technician, from Evans Army Community Hospital's Chief of Behavioral Health, based out of Fort Carson, Colorado, for identifying mainstream portions of an audit regarding confidential matters. Similarly, she received a Master's Scholar Award through the University of Alabama for maintaining a 4.0 GPA while sustaining quality clinical skills during her time there. The cornerstone of her success lay in her unwavering faith in Christ, 'walking the talk' of mindfulness practices, and remembering to keep it simple. Though her career has been filled with standout moments, she takes the most joy in strengthening her trust in a higher power, nurturing her motherhood intuition, and becoming the first in her family to pursue higher education.
