Ms. Vega is distinguished for her dedication to interior design, a profession in which she has excelled since graduating from college in 2021. As an interior designer with Lombard Conrad Architects, she is responsible for working on multiple projects at the same time, collaborating with her team, working with clients, developing presentations, and completing deadlines. While her talents span many areas of design, she lends her talent and beyond-her-years design outlook to projects in the healthcare, higher ed, and other public sectors.
A first-generation college graduate, Ms. Vega attributes her success to her education and the ongoing support of her parents. After earning an Associate of Arts in Art-Visual from the College of Southern Idaho, she enrolled at the University of Idaho, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture and Design, with a minor in Architecture, in 2021. During her studies, Ms. Vega's dedication was recognized with a 2020 Alumni Award from the university.
Of her many educational and professional achievements, Ms. Vega is especially proud of going straight into an Interior Design I entry-level position after receiving her bachelor's degree; it is unusual for new graduates to take this step, with most accepting an internship first. Looking toward the future, she is committed to becoming a Certified Interior Designer by working towards her NCIDQ Certification (National Council for Interior Design Qualification). Designers certified through the NCIDQ exam gain industry visibility and recognition nationwide. She also strives to move from entry-level to the more advanced title of senior interior designer. To help prepare herself to advance within her field, she is active with the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and was previously a member of Interior Designers of Idaho (IDI).
In her free time, Ms. Vega enjoys sketching and kayaking, hiking, camping, and fishing with her friends and family. A volunteer within her local community, she donates to families in need through her employer and is involved with the Idaho Food Bank.
