To prepare for his career, Mr. Jones attended Georgia Southern University and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting. Adding to his expertise, he subsequently received numerous credentials, including as a Personal Financial Specialist and Certified Public Accountant. He also became Accredited in Business Valuation through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Additionally, Mr. Jones received credentials as a Certified Valuation Analyst through the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts and as a Certified Financial Planner through the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
As an extension of his commitments, Mr. Jones is active as a member of numerous industry-related organizations, including the AICPA, the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts, and the Institute of Certified Financial Planners. Mr. Jones is also very active with the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants' estate and financial planning committee and estate planning conference committee.
In light of his professional contributions, Mr. Jones was recognized with a Distinguished Service Award from the Parker College of Business at Georgia Southern University in 2022.
