Since 2008, he has focused his efforts on multifamily housing, project development, finance, acquisitions, and investor relations. Additionally, he has served as the executive director of the Parsons Avenue Redevelopment Corporation since 2014.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Higgins began his career as a chargebacks coordinator for Cardinal Health in 1996 and was a development specialist for the Greater Linden Development Corporation in 1998. He then served as a program director for Enterprise Community Partners in 2001 until 2008. During this time, he also was the owner of Anderson Fund Raising from 2003 to 2008 and served as a program director for Enterprise Community Loan Fund in 2007.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Higgins earned a Bachelor of Arts in international relations with minors in urban geography and Russian from The Ohio State University in 1995. He then attained a Master of City and Regional Planning from the same institution in 2000. Well-qualified in his field, he is a certified housing development finance professional with the National Development Council. Among his professional accomplishments, he is proud to have been named to the 40 Under 40 list by Columbus Business First in 2012 and was named to the Columbus CEO Future 50 list.
Within the coming years, Mr. Higgins intends to double the size of the business and add additional capacity through staff, allowing them to meet more clients' needs. Accounting for his success, he credits the support he's received from his wife throughout his career.
