Over the years, he has expanded upon his professional knowledge by completing coursework in commerce, earning a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and becoming a Certified Advanced RPA Professional. In light of his outstanding body of work, Mr. Ranjan was named the Third Finalist at the EXL Global Competition (Out to Win) in 2016 and received the East India Topper Award for CA Intermediate Exams, as well as the All India 40th Rank for CA Final Exams through The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
During the early stages of his career, Mr. Ranjan gained valuable expertise as an internal audit manager for Pantaloon Retail India Limited and Tata Motors Limited. Likewise, he worked as a senior research analyst for Irevna Research Services Limited, a SOX consultant for Unilever India Services, and as a section officer with the Government of India. In conjunction with his work, he contributes to his community by volunteering in homeless shelters, as well as several charities in India.
Though his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Ranjan talks passionately about a consulting project he and his team delivered for a large global insurance organization, where a deeper understanding of costs drove top line growth and linked transformation efforts directly to customer journeys (focus on what's important for the customers). This project showed the client teams value generated by Finance function and how it can move towards becoming a better business partner than a book-keeping function. While hard work and dedication have brought him far, he attributes his success to his humble background and the support of his family, friends, and mentors.
