From watching his father excel as an ophthalmologist, Dr. Assi's exposure to the medical field allowed him to decide early on that he also wanted to work in health care. Due to his fascination with the dental profession, he set his sights on a career in dentistry and obtained a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from Nova Southeastern University. From there, he completed a residency in advanced general dentistry at Nova Southeastern University and went on to fulfill a fellowship in implant surgery at the Misch Resnik Implant Institute.

For the past 11 years, Dr. Assi has served Alpha Dental Practice & Implant Center as an oral implantologist. Among his daily responsibilities, he strives to provide his patients with cutting-edge technology, utilizing the most advanced techniques available to replace missing teeth with implants. Dr. Assi feels honored to have helped thousands of patients regain their confidence to smile, as well as improve their ability to enjoy food and their overall quality of life.

To attest to his success as a dental professional, Dr. Assi is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry and a diplomate and fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He has also been recognized with a mastership and a fellowship from the American Dental Implant Association. Dr. Assi attributes his success to his passion, drive and motivation for his work, which has enabled him to be consistent daily. Likewise, he credits his father as his biggest inspiration, showing him the meaning of hard work and encouraging him to pursue a life that would allow him to be the best version of himself, regardless of profession. He also considers God a mentor.

Passionate about sharing his knowledge and expertise, when Dr. Assi is not in the office performing surgery, he can be found teaching nationally and internationally with the most prestigious implant organizations. He is also a contributor to dental magazine articles. To remain abreast of his field, he remains affiliated with the American Academy for Facial Aesthetics, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Dental Implant Association.

Outside of his primary work, Dr. Assi believes in giving back to the community and participates in dental missions to underserved populations worldwide. With this humanitarian outlook, his goal within three to five years is to establish a charitable organization focusing on veterans and people suffering from abuse. His true joy is seeing firsthand the life transformation that occurs when health is restored. Additionally, Dr. Assi is interested in educating the next generation of medical professionals and has plans to establish an implant center containing an instructional facility.

In his spare time, Dr. Assi enjoys photography, cooking, playing music, and traveling with his wife and their three children.
