Ms. Baker initially began her technology sales career working at Lotus 1-2-3 in San Francisco, California before moving to Quintus Corporation, as start up in Palo Alto, California. From 1995 to 2005, Ms. Baker was consistently a top sales leader at Oracle in Redwood City, California leading a team focused on highly competitive opportunities. In 2005, SAP America Inc. hired Ms. Baker as the Senior Vice President to create and managed a global pursuit team focused on strategic/large and highly complex opportunities. In addition to leading the pursuits team. Ms. Baker designed several new commercial models to meet customer demands while transitioning to the cloud.
Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Baker pursued au education at Berry College. where she obtained a bachelor's degree in accounting. She continued her academic efforts at the University of St. Thomas, earning a master's degree in finance and statistics. Well regarded for her contributions in her career, she has received multiple awards based on her Leadership, Impact, Design and Creative, and Partnering. Among her professional accomplishments, Ms. Baker built and managed global high-performance pursuit teams both at SAP and AWS Inc., advanced Private Pricing at AWS Inc., starting with only 5 individuals to 600 employees in 27 countries.
