He also worked in the restaurant industry at Four Points by Sheraton in 2015. During an earlier stage of his career, Mr. Maddox spent several years in the health care sector as a certified nursing assistant with Ashton Park Health Care Center and Advanced Care Home Health Agency, both of which are in Asheville.
As a commitment to his community, Mr. Maddox is involved in local charitable initiatives and fundraisers for children in need. He is also a professional member of Mountain BizWorks, an Ashville-based organization that focuses on helping individuals establish their businesses and awards mini-grants to start-up companies, among other services.
Recognizing his achievements, Mr. Maddox was featured in an August 2019 article in the Biltmore Beacon, a weekly newspaper published in North Carolina, for the success of The Sweet Escape.
