Previously, Ms. Bailey worked as the acting chief of staff and associate vice president of human resources for Morehouse College, where she increased the number of HR staff by 71 percent and supervised 15 professionals in human resource and other administrative units.
During the early stages of her career, Ms. Bailey gained valuable expertise in executive human resources through Broward County Schools, Edison Learning, and Westwood College. Throughout her career, she has achieved much, including reducing out-of-pocket dependent care costs for Broward County Schools and increasing compliance by nearly 40 percent in Illinois for Edison Learning. Outside of her work, Ms. Bailey dedicates herself to her community through the Anne Frank Center for Mutual Respect, Skills for Rhode Island's Future, College and University Professionals in Human Resources (CUPA-HR), Association of Research Universities' Human Resources Institute (ARU-HRI), CHRO Roundtable Governing Body for Evanta (a Gartner company), and a host of additional organizations where she lends her time to advance the HR profession.
Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Ms. Bailey has is a member of several organizations such as the New England HR Association, and the Society of Human Resources Management. An expert in her field, Ms. Bailey holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Education from Florida Atlantic University and a Master of Science in Labor Relations and Human Resource Management from the University of Rhode Island. Subsequently, she expanded upon her expertise by becoming a certified labor relations professional through the Florida Public Employer Labor Relations Association.
