The collection of well-appointed Boutique Auberge™ provides curated social experiences from home-stay to special encounter events. She focuses on creating classic silhouettes with a modern touch.
Rina has been in the business of design since 1996. Her career in the design and art field started in Nashville as one of the city's premier decorative painters serving the housewives of the Nashville Titans and the music industry. With strong requests for interior design work, she felt additional training was needed to deliver excellence. She then went back to school to obtain an associates degree in interior design from Central Piedmont Community College while continuing to raise her boys and run a full-time decorative painting business in Nashville and Charlotte. Currently, she has extended her business venture to include the House of Norwood Boutique Auberge™ and as an Airbnb Superhost Ambassador.
Her work time is devoted to serving North Carolina and surrounding states in full-service interior design; from in-house CAD work to new construction design services and everything in between. As part of her civic and community service, Rina serves in her local church branches and is a member of the Downtown Newton Development Association, an accredited member of Main Street America. She has also done a lot of community work and paid work for Southlake Christian Academy, whose fine arts department she ran for three and a half years.
In light of her outstanding breadth of knowledge, Ms. Norwood has won several awards through the Southern Spring Home and Garden Show. While her career has been filled with standout moments, she takes the most pride in balancing being a mother and an entrepreneur. The cornerstone of her success lay in her focus, surrounding herself with the right people in the right environment, and her professional network. In the next five years, Ms. Norwood intends to experience the continued growth and success of her career.
