From 2010 until 2013, he found further success as a professor of emergency medicine at the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. D'Addesio had previously worked as a professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai during the 1980s.
A proud Italian immigrant, Dr. D'Addesio regularly contributes to the Italian Cultural & Community Center of Houston. He also participates in the Houston Italian Festival in a volunteer capacity every year as well.
