Well regarded for her expertise in publicity and communications, Ms. Chamberlain is recognized for excellence in her role as chief executive officer, senior publicist and creative director of The Posh Publicity Firm. Her leadership and keen insight into public relations, advertising, marketing and branding has earned her honors from Tampa Bay's Black Girls Rock and has resulted in her being named Miss Women and Business Florida. Calling herself a dedicated "mom-preneur," Ms. Chamberlain has achieved all of these successes while parenting two children, 12-year-old Mekhi and 9-year-old Maxwell.
Ms. Chamberlain got started in her profession as an undergraduate student at Georgia Southern University; she was inspired by comments made by Oprah Winfrey about how public relations experts had helped her expand from a television star to a brand. As a result, Ms. Chamberlain decided to obtain her Bachelor of Science degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations. She later went on to earn a Master of Arts in education from Central Michigan University, and she is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing.
Adjacent to her main responsibilities in the field, Ms. Chamberlain is a talented writer. In 2022, she authored "Live Out Loud & Take Up Space: How to Amplify Your Voice and Pursue Your Passion with Boldness," a motivational book based on positive feedback that she has received throughout her career. Additionally, she is a contributing writer for Business in Action magazine and has been featured in P.O.W.E.R. (Professional Organization of Women in Excellence Recognized) and Successful Black Parenting magazines.
A volunteer within her local community, Ms. Chamberlain is active with her local United Way, Boys & Girls Club, the Tampa Bay Women's POWER Broker Association, and her church. She is a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and the NAACP. In the coming years, Ms. Chamberlain hopes to continue transitioning from lifestyle publicity to entertainment public relations.
