In addition to providing business development, supply chain, strategic planning and program management expertise to a variety of industries, she manages operational excellence using Lean Six Sigma practices and supervises procurement, logistics, program management, site operations and engineering. Previously, Ms. Cintrón-Rivera worked as the supply chain senior director for Medtronic, vice president of supply chain operations, OpEX, QRA operations, distribution, logistics, and transportation at Cardinal Health, and as a plant manager at Johnson & Johnson.
Ms. Cintrón-Rivera possesses a broad background orchestrating the start-up, expansion and transformation of diverse businesses. He experience includes leading multi sites Supply Chains and Global Business Units, having the opportunity of growing within the End of Products Value Chain. During the early stages of her career, Ms. Cintrón-Rivera gained valuable expertise in the field through executive positions at MOVA, Sanofi-Aventis, and Syntex-Roche. At 28 years old she achieved the appointment to lead operations and technology and products transfers for a multi technologies pharmaceutical global company, Sanofi-Aventis and continues her leadership executive development at different capacities.
In order to remain abreast of ongoing industry changes, she aligns herself with the Industrial Women's Chapter of the Puerto Rico Manufacturers Association as a founder core team member. An expert in her field, she holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez, a certification as black belt in Lean Six Sigma by Johnson & Johnson, and a certification in negotiation management from Harvard Business School.
