Since obtaining the role in 2022, she has managed hospital-based services in critical care, anesthesia, and hospitalists for Sutter Memorial Medical Center, Sutter Tracy Community Hospital, Memorial Hospital Los Banos, and St. Joseph's Medical Center. Likewise, Dr. Campbell has overseen clinical service lines for Sutter Gould Medical Foundation and Gould Medical Group in oncology, neurosciences, women and infant care, behavioral health, and musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and urgent care. She is also the current Board Treasurer for the Association of Cancer Executives.
Previously, Dr. Campbell worked as the Chief Strategy Officer for San Ramon Regional Medical Center and in various roles with Sutter Health, including Co-lead of the Women's Inclusion Resource Group, Director of Delivery Systems Strategy, SVMF Strengthen Inclusion co-chair, Senior Department Manager for Orthopedic and Podiatry Services, and Oncology Clinical Service Line Outreach Coordinator and Relationship Manager. During the early stages of her career, Dr. Campbell gained valuable expertise in the field as an administrator in pharmacy, business manager for DJF Builders, and in accounts receivable with Mat Express.
Alongside her work, Dr. Campbell has contributed to her community as a Co-lead for the Career Development Transition Committee of the California Association of Healthcare Leaders, as a community volunteer with the American Red Cross, and as the campaign co-lead with March of Dimes. Similarly, she was part of Chi Omega, San Diego Dance Theatre, and the Patricia Rincon Dance Company. An expert in her field, Dr. Campbell holds a Bachelor of Arts in human development, science, technology, and dance from the University of California, San Diego, a master's degree in health care administration from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a Doctorate in business administration from Alliant International University's California School of Management & Leadership.
Due to her vast breadth of knowledge, Dr. Campbell authored such works as "Fierce: The Power of Owning Your Journey" and "Strengthening Your Oncology Network and Building Brand Equity for Your Cancer Program." Throughout her career, she has been named Miss California State. While her career has been filled with highlights, she takes the most pride in being part of the team that built an oncology program early in her leadership career and partnering with Sutter Health's affiliates in the Bay area to obtain funding for the breast health program.
