BULLHEAD CITY, AZ, March 22, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Eric Moore has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
As a child, Mr. Moore and his sister used to play school with their friends on the back porch of their home. Similarly, he was enamored by his elementary school teachers. Upon entering high school, a teacher named Marta Devins made a considerable impact on him, understanding him as both a teenager and a person. He went from being on the verge of suspension to graduating as the senior class president and a lieutenant colonel through the JROTC. Other teachers, including Joyce Oatman and Dr. Hazel B. Stewart also encouraged him throughout his high school years.
Driven to pursue a career in education, Mr. Moore earned a dual bachelor's degree in English and sociology from the University of Minnesota, Morris. Subsequently, he received a Master of Science in special education from his alma mater, Dominican University as well as a Master of Education in educational leadership from the American College of Education. Backed by his considerable education, Mr. Moore presently excels as the principal of Anya Itpak Pre-K and Elementary School, where he conducts instructional walk-throughs to ensure high-quality instruction, teaches special education classes, and mentors teachers.
To stay abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Moore aligns himself with the International Literacy Association and the National Society of Leadership and Success. In recognition of his outstanding work, he was selected as a Ronald E. McNair scholar while attending the University of Minnesota, Morris which promotes graduate and professional school education for first-generation college students. Through it, he was given the opportunity to work with college professors on research they were conducting on topics related to public affairs, law, education, etc. during summer internships. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in receiving the above scholarship. Within the next five to ten years, Mr. Moore aims to complete his doctoral studies at Concordia University.
