Ultimately, Ms. Ayers aims to improve the lives of others through advocacy, fight for what is right, and provide a better future for the next generation.
KNOXVILLE, TN, March 23, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marilyn G. Ayers has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
After losing her husband in an industrial accident in South Carolina, Ms. Ayers presently excels as the executive director of Palmetto Alliance Inc., a nonprofit organization that monitors official meeting announcements and alerts the public regarding what they need to know about community meetings. During the early stages of her career, she gained valuable expertise as a state senatorial candidate on the Republican ticket in South Carolina. While campaigning for the State Senate, Ms. Ayers happened to visit a commercial hazardous waste landfill facility located over the aquifer 20 miles from the City of Sumter's drinking water facility. She helped to monitor the situation and informed the public about the issue resulting in the eventual closure of the facility, which led to her current position with Palmetto Alliance.
Alongside her work, Ms. Ayers, a direct descendant of Pocahontas, is affiliated with the Daughters of the American Revolution, and a national pseudo Environmental Organization, where she was a member of the board of directors, and the local environmental organization, CASE. While her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Ayers takes the most pride in improving law enforcement in South Carolina, taking down the head of the governor's crime prevention unit, and assisting in removing a county's crooked sheriff.
The cornerstone of Ms. Ayers' overall success lay in her courage and her passion for helping others, and her unlimited capacity for outrage over official misconduct, whether in business or politics. Within the coming years, she intends to experience the continued growth and success of her career. Ultimately, Ms. Ayers aims to improve the lives of others through advocacy, fight for what is right, and provide a better future for the next generation. One particular issue on which she wants to focus is the fentanyl crisis that is facing the United States today.
