In this capacity, she focuses her efforts on teaching four classes each day for students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. She teaches classes of diverse learners, including those who have learning disabilities. She helped to secure over a quarter of a million dollars in grant money for her school's fine and performing arts programs, which service students and staff members as well as the community in which the school is located.
Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Mrs. Netter earned a bachelor's degree in fine arts from Chicago State University in 1995. She then attained a master's degree in urban education from DePaul University in 2000. Well-qualified in her field, she holds a teaching certification.
In addition to being thrilled to gain membership in the Marquis Who's Who of America Mrs. Netter is also an active member of several professional organizations, such as National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Incorporated, Educators for Excellence where she has served as a past Board member for the city of Chicago and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Within the coming years, Mrs. Netter intends to establish more art programs at her school, branching into developing a theater program. She greatly enjoys being a teacher and holds a high respect for her fellow educators, as well as the education profession as a whole.
