She won an ICON Award from Missouri Lawyers Media and was named to the Hall of Fame of the Saint Louis University School of Law.

A seasoned legal expert with years of expertise in the field, Ms. Block presently serves as a partner with Paule Camazine Blumenthal, through which she specializes in family law matters, including divorce, guardianships, adoptions, paternity matters, and more. Alongside her work with the firm, she writes a bi-monthly column, discussing legal issues, for a publication called The Lawyer, which is associated with the Bar Association of St. Louis. Ms. Block gained invaluable legal experience serving for a total of 25 years as a St. Louis County Associate and Circuit Judge for the State of Missouri.
Due to her vast breadth of knowledge, she has also taught domestic violence courses in Rome, Prague, Lithuania, and several cities in Brazil, and trial practice skills through Washington University School of Law, St. Louis University School of Law, and Emory University School of Law.
Alongside her work, Ms. Block has contributed to her community through board service for Caring for Kids, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Eastern Missouri and the Missouri Foundation for Health. Likewise, she is a member of the board of directors for the St. Louis County Children's Service Fund and the Jewish Community Relations Council and dedicates herself to the Missouri Supreme Commission on Racial & Ethic Fairness. With the Missouri Supreme Commission, she focused her attention on disparate impact of practices and procedures in the Juvenile Court. Due to her vast breadth of knowledge, Ms. Block has authored a number of publications, including "Grandparent Visitation Rights: History, Constitutionality, and Practice," which was featured in the St. Louis Bar Journal.
An expert in her field, Ms. Block holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Penn State University and a JD from the Saint Louis University School of Law. In recognition of her professional achievements, she won an ICON Award from Missouri Lawyers Media and was named to the Hall of Fame of the Saint Louis University School of Law. Additionally, she received the Business of Pride Award from the St. Louis Business Journal, a Certificate of Recognition through the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition, and the Woman of the Year Award through the Women's Justice Awards.
While her career has been filled with standout moments, Ms. Block takes the most pride in being appointed the administrative judge of the family court in St. Louis County in 2000. During her four-year tenure, she oversaw 400 employees of the Juvenile Court and programmatically developed alternative ways intended to prevent keep children from being formally involved with the juvenile court. The cornerstone of her success lay in having been on both sides of the bench, her out-of-the-box creative solutions, her persistence and her passion for what she does. Within the coming years, Ms. Block will continue her active legal practice, in addition to mentoring younger lawyers at Paule Camazine Blumenthal.
