Leveraging more than two decades of excellence in business and civil litigation as well as matrimonial law, Ms. Relf has earned distinction as the managing partner of Imani Global Law, LLC. Since 2022, she has focused her efforts on working with clients and opposing counsel while ensuring the firm's longevity as a business. Among her professional accomplishments, she is proud to have been named an Elite Lawyer in 2022 for her stellar work.
Outside of her primary career efforts, Ms. Relf is a Public Interest Fellow and is a valued member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, the Magic City Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the International Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar Diversity & Inclusion Committee, and the Alabama State Bar Association's Quality of Life, Health, and Wellness Task Force. Likewise dedicated to civil advocacy, she served as chairman of the board for the March of Dimes for Central Alabama and presently serves on the Board of Directors of The Marlon and Marcus Foundation and Montgomery Women for Good.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Relf began her career as a junior paralegal with the Beasley Allen Law Firm and was a law clerk for the Alabama Office of the Attorney General in 2008. She became a certified paralegal for the Legal Services Alabama in 2010 and was an associate for The Law Office of Tiffany B. McCord, LLC the same year. She also served as the principal attorney for her own firm, The Relf Law Firm, LLC, from 2010 until 2022. During this time, she taught as an adjunct professor for Faulkner University in 2014 and was a special circuit judge for family court with the Alabama 15th Judicial Circuit from 2015 until 2018. She continued her career as a litigation staff attorney with the Alabama Education Association until 2020.
Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Relf earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Faulkner University in 2005. Following this accomplishment, she attained a Juris Doctor from Faulkner University's Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 2009. She remains dedicated to her alma mater as a member of the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law chapter of the BLSA Alumni Association. Well-qualified in her field, she is a certified guardian ad litem with the Alabama State Bar Association and is a member of both the American Bar Association and the Montgomery County Bar Association.
