SILVER SPRING, MD, March 31, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who publication today announced the induction of Patrick F. Sutton to its 120-year-old biographical registry. In his 30 years as an entrepreneur and skilled barber, Sutton has built a thriving enterprise and earned a sound reputation among peers, clients, and the business community.
For generations the Sutton family have been grounded in the Silver Spring community, and in the Washington, D.C. area. In the mid-1990's, after identifying a void in the local hair salon and barbering market, Sutton opened his first business, 'Euro Hair Gallery.' A few years later he opened his second shop P-Sutton Beauty and Barber Shop,' located at the border of the nation's capital, and steps away from the heart of downtown Silver Spring's vibrant town center. As a strategy, Sutton staked his brick-and-mortar businesses in central locations that draw a client base ranging from local clients to high profile figures.
"It is an honor to be recognized by Marquis Who's Who," said Sutton. "My life as an entrepreneur has been both a blessing and, at times, challenging. Business ownership and the industry of barbering has afforded me the ability to strengthen my family and community. The successes, achievements and my faith in God have encouraged me during the inevitable challenges. Thirty years as an entrepreneur is a testament to my faith and fortitude."
Sutton is a Master Barber, an American Barber Association designation for skill level and the demonstration of exemplary professionalism. He has perfected the skills of barbering and sharpened his techniques of hair trimming, cutting and styling; coloring and perming; and traditional and modern shaving. Today, Sutton trains and mentors journeymen barbers in the fundamentals and techniques of barbering, and the importance of business practices and values that will support a lasting career.
DC-based professional clothing designer Everett Hall, a long-lasting client and fellow entrepreneur, has witnessed Sutton's success and longevity in the barbering industry. "Patrick's vision, unrelenting focus, dedication to his craft and his willingness to put the work in as made him the apogee of success," said Hall.
