Passionate about providing his clients with quality craftmanship without sacrificing quality, Mr. Peterson and his team specialize in developing high-end residential construction, renovations, and historical renovation projects throughout Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
As a testament to his integrity, Mr. Peterson oversees a team of more than 40 personnel, many of whom have been employed by his firm for several decades. He also maintains excellent relations with subcontractors, clients and architects in the planning, developing, and completing of large-scale, award-winning projects, and has become sought-after by many of these architects and clients. Moreover, Mr. Peterson is exceptionally grateful to have built such a phenomenal professional relationship with his business partner Mr. Collins. The two played collegiate sports together before graduating from Bucknell University. Mr. Collins notably received a Bachelor of Civil engineering, while Mr. Peterson garnered a Bachelor of Arts in English.

A civic-minded person, Mr. Peterson served as a chairperson and board member for the Van Wagoner Mutual Funds. The firm actively supports the local AlA chapters in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC. He presently contributes to area museums, including the National Building Museum, a museum of architecture, design, engineering, construction, and urban planning in Washington, D.C.
A lifelong resident of Washington DC, he recently has found a new passion collecting prominent Washington Color School artists featuring multiple original works of Paul Reed, Jacob Kainen, Louis Morris, Thomas Downing, Sam Gilliam and Gene Davis, all whose works are collected by the National Gallery of Art, The Kreeger Museum and The Phillips Museum.
Mr. Peterson and his firm have received dozens of industry-related awards, including the D.C. Design Award for Interior Architecture, the Maryland Excellence in Design Citation Award, the Virginia Society Award of Excellence, the Northern Virginia Merit Award, and the Chesapeake Bay Citation Award from the American Institute of Architects.
