Before joining the Swedish-based company in 2021, she earned recognition in the industry with Shentel (Shenandoah Telecommunications Company), a publicly traded digital wireless and wireless network services company headquartered in Edinburg, Virginia. At Shentel, Ms. Levy got started in Outside Plant Engineering and Construction (OSP) managing Enterprise and Carrier fiber projects across the mid-Atlantic from 2019 to 2021.
During an earlier stage of her career, Ms. Levy was a trauma ICU registered nurse at a Level 1 trauma center in Alabama from 2011 to 2012, shortly after earning her nursing degree. Recruited to ExxonMobil in 2012, she began conducting extensive work for quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) compliances. Ms. Levy's experience led her to serve as an oil & gas well site auditor alongside compliance entities across government agencies, OSHA, and environmental organizations, shifting Ms. Levy away from a nursing career altogether. Additionally, she spent several years as a regulatory and operations analyst working for state and federal agencies such as Colorado Oil & Gas Conservation Commission and Bureau of Land Management.
Throughout her career, Ms. Levy has successfully managed several large numbers of teams. Looking toward the future, she aims to continue striving for excellence, be a solid contributing member to her communities, and become more influential in her industry.
Possessing a rich educational background, Ms. Levy received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama in 2011, followed by a second bachelor's degree in business from Purdue University. She is presently pursuing a Master of Business Administration, due to graduate in May 2023. Additional educational pursuits to Ms. Levy's credit include credentials as a certified Scrum Master, and Salesforce Certified Administrator.
As a testament to her hard work, Ms. Levy was inducted into the Forbes Women Forum in 2021. Over the past couple of years, she has gained mentors and been a mentor for women in the IT and telecommunications industries. She is also a professional member and mentor for the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and the Society for Collegiate Leadership and Achievement. Furthermore, Ms. Levy is a corporate member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI), which focuses on advancing the information and communications technology profession, and Women in Cable & Telecommunications (WICT) Network. Apart from her productive career in the corporate field, Ms. Levy was notably a professional athlete for the past 15 years as a competitive equestrian. Ms. Levy is an active horsewoman, riding, training, and competing horses in Virginia, and coaching owners and students excelling them toward their goals.
