NASHUA, NH, April 11, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Loretta CR Hubley has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. Well regarded for her contributions to the New Hampshire art world, Ms. Hubley is recognized for her 50 years of experience in the creation and teaching of art. Since 1977, she has led the Studio for Fine Art, formerly the Studio for Lithography and Etching, an organization that offers individualized art classes and workshops for young people and adults. A multi-talented artist with expertise in painting and printmaking, Ms. Hubley is also an artist member of the nonprofit New Hampshire Art Association, the Cambridge Art Association, and the South Shore Art Center. Earlier in her career, Ms. Hubley was a professor of art at Rivier University and an associate professor of art at Madonna University.
Before venturing onto her vocational path, Ms. Hubley studied at the University of Dayton, earning a bachelor's degree in 1972 and achieving certification to teach in secondary education, art and English. She continued her education at the University of Maryland, obtaining a master's degree in both fine art and art education in 1974. Since then, she has not only taught art but shown her expressive art in juried exhibits and in solo shows.
Ms. Hubley traces the roots of her success to her artistic talent and passion for helping other artists. An active member of the local arts community, she is a founding member coordinator of the New Hampshire Women's Caucus for Art, a demonstrator for the New Hampshire Art Association, and past president and gallery manager for the Nashua Area Art Association. Ms. Hubley is currently organizing small groups of fellow prominent local artists to showcase their work in themed exhibits. Outside of her artistic pursuits, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters, Marlena and Kristiana.
