Having joined Vinfen in Lawrence, Massachusetts, in January 2021 as a residential counselor II, Ms. Fisher has since progressed, earning the title of lead residential counselor in less than a year. Primarily working with children and individuals with various disabilities and panoramic mental health, she also provides resources so that they can secure jobs, gain access to necessary services, and secure appointments. Additionally, Ms. Fisher is responsible for training staff members on computerized databases, interviewing prospective employees, and assisting the program director.

Ms. Fisher's diverse career began in the mid-1980s in retail sales and customer service and subsequently in nursing, mental health, education, and law. Among her varying roles, she gained experience as a certified nursing assistant at Berkshire Commons Genesis Eldercare in Reading, Pennsylvania, as a mental health counselor at Hampstead Hospital in Hampstead, New Hampshire, as an after school counselor at Hampton School District, as a traumatic brain injury specialist at Vision House in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, and as an activity aide at Sunrise Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Ms. Fisher also taught as a family and consumer sciences teacher at Pelham High School in Pelham, New Hampshire, and as a paralegal for several prominent firms in Boston.
Giving back to her community, Ms. Fisher has enjoyed working with children in low-poverty environments. Compassionate about others, she finds fulfillment in making a positive impact that allows individuals to grow and become productive members of society.
Ms. Fisher has held a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Alvernia University since 1996 and certification in paralegal studies from Northern Essex Community College since 2007. She also completed internships in drug and alcohol counseling education, childcare, and paralegal studies. Ms. Fisher is presently pursuing a Master of Business Administration in managerial leadership at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell.
In 1996, Ms. Fisher received an Excellence in Research Award from Alvernia University.
