Drawing on years of professional engineering experience, Mr. Foyil presently excels as partner and vice president of engineering at Epic Technologies LLC. Since starting the company in 2000, he has maintained responsibility for establishing sales/engineering contacts, obtained business opportunities with OEM industry and high-tech product manufacturers, and developed a wide range of high-tech product designs. Over the course of more than 20 years, Mr. Foyil has realized an average sales growth of 10 percent a year.
Previously, Mr. Foyil worked as the executive vice president of engineering for Itran Rubber Corporation, through which he helped acquire a multi-million dollar, American-based company that specializes in the production of pharmaceutical packaging and drug delivery rubber components. Additionally, Mr. Foyil had the honor of being appointed by former President Donald Trump as a board member for the Selective Service System in the state of New Jersey.
Before embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Foyil earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from Stockton University. Subsequently, he expanded upon his professional knowledge by completing an MBA in business management with a minor in computer science from Temple University's Fox School of Business and receiving certifications through the Somerset County Technology Institute and Mercer County Community College.
Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Foyil aligns himself with the Society of Plastic Engineers and The American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Due to his vast breadth of knowledge, he has earned a number of patents for a fuel transfer system, a stopper/plunger for carpules of Syringe-Carpule assembly, and a tamper-resistant variable dosage medicine dropper. Similarly, Mr. Foyil was named to Who's Who in Plastics & Polymers 1st edition and received the Creative Packaging Award from The Mennen Company.
While his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Foyil is most proud of the technical design contributions he has made in the medical field, which include an epinephrine auto-injector dosage delivery system for anaphylactic shock syndrome, and being part of the team that developed a suicide bomber detection system for a company working with the Department of Defense. The cornerstone of his success lay in his creativity and networking. Looking ahead, Mr. Foyil intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career.
