As the latter, he oversaw a 25-member crew that provided rocket and missile fire support for a field artillery regiment using multiple launch rocket systems and Army tactical missile systems. Likewise, he served as a first sergeant, chief fire direction supervisor, and army field recruiter. Driven to remain abreast of ongoing industry changes, he aligns himself with the Human Resources Society. An expert in his field, Mr. Anderson earned an associate degree in art studies from Central Texas College in 2006. Subsequently, he received a Bachelor of Arts in liberal arts and sciences from Excelsior University, became a certified master resiliency trainer through the University of Pennsylvania, and completed a Master of Arts in human relations at the University of Oklahoma. Throughout his career, Mr. Anderson also earned a master's degree in international relations and graduate certificates in human resource diversity and development from the University of Oklahoma.
In recognition of his professional accomplishments, Mr. Anderson has won four Army Achievement Medals, six Army Commendation Medals, two Meritorious Service Medals, and four Top Recruiter of the Quarter awards. Additionally, he was named New Army Recruiter of the Year in 2000, received the Army Recruiter's Gold Badge with 3 Sapphire Stars in 2002, earned the Army Recruiter's Ring the following year, and had the Glen E. Morrell Award in 2005. Though hard work and dedication have brought him far, he credits his overall success to his passion for helping others.
